I haven't updated this in a while, so I thought that I would post some of the cards that I still have available for trades.

These cards are nearly ALWAYS available. Please send me a message to see if I currently have any you want (if not I will look into buying it/them).

NOTE: There are also still some cards available in the TITANIC series.

Celebrating the Olympics!

It's July! I haven't updated this site for months; but I want to post a big thank you to all of my readers!

This month we have some awesome postcards commemorating the 2012 London Olympics.

They are lovely postcards with bright colours and the water is metallic! If you collect Olympic postcards and memorabilia from around the world, this is the perfect postcard for you!! It is a birds-eye-view of the Canadian Olympic Rowing Team (pairs) and can be yours if you ask to trade. Please make sure that you have some of your sent cards uploaded, so I can pick from cards that are available... if not feel free to send me an offer with some descriptions of available cards if you really want this (I am not too picky) - I would love cards from the following places:

I am also VERY into stamp collecting,... so if you have some beautiful commemorative stamps.. I can always trade a card for a few of those.

Calgary Stampede!

Date of Issue: May 17, 2012

On top of the beautiful Titanic postcards and the Franklin postcards (see both below) - Canada post is issuing postcards for the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede!!
They came out with some great designs and I will be ordering mulitples of each, if you would like to swap for one please send me a message on post-crossing!

Welcome to Colleen's Blog

Under Construction!

I am working on adding all of my postcards...

... It is taking longer than expected ;)

I have decided to join many postcrossers by creating a blog with pictures of all of the postcards that I have received from all over the world.

I really like this idea because it allows me to catalogue all of them, as well as bring together a collection of my favorites for future postcrossers to view to help them decide which cards to send me.

Here is one of the cards that I recieved this week:

I REALLY love the Victorian style and this postcard really captures that... one of my favorite things to see in Victorian cards is royalty, I love the extravagent gowns and shoes, jewlery, crowns etc.. that are often found in that time period for that particular class of people.
